Dr. Shane Williams Jr.

Shane grew up on Vashon Island and is thrilled to be back serving the Pacific Northwest community. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Minot State University in 2020 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in 2023. He also holds advanced certifications in Graston Technique Therapy, dry needling, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
A former collegiate and Team USA wrestler, Shane brings a deep understanding of athletic performance to his work. He currently serves as the head athletic trainer for Vashon High School, supporting student-athletes with injury evaluation, prevention education, and sideline coverage.
Shane specializes in sports-related injuries and performance, working with patients of all ages—from professionals to weekend warriors. He believes everyone is an athlete, whether you're on the field or in the garden, and focuses on helping you return to your sport stronger and more resilient. Outside the clinic, Shane enjoys hiking and camping around the PNW with his wife Hannah and their hound dog, Cash.

Dr. Shane Williams founded Athletic Training Physiotherapy with one goal: to bring personalized, progressive care back to the people of Vashon Island.
After earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan and working with athletes at every level — including Team USA — he returned to his hometown to provide whole-system, performance-driven therapy that serves athletes, families, and active individuals across the community.
